Hello, I am an experienced professional providing a safe, private, and non-judgemental service. We can explore and find solutions to the issues that matter that you within a warm and caring environment.

I believe given the right conditions we can overcome emotional obstacles and distress to live fulfilling lives and grow personally. I use an integrative approach grounded in person centred practice, using cognitive behavioural therapy techniques, and solution focussed motivational interviewing.

Being of South Asian heritage I am able to deliver culturally sensitive therapy to those with similar backgrounds as well as work with others from diverse backgrounds.

I work within a trauma informed approach and specialise in bereavement, relationship breakdown, anxiety, panic attacks, recovery from narcissistic abuse, depression, stress, trauma, suicidal thoughts, racism, post-natal depression, relationship problems, separation and divorce, redundancy, personality disorders, menopause and loneliness.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

  • A British Psychological Society accredited BSc Psychology (Hons)
  • Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • Open University Diploma EMDR
  • Leeds Counselling – Theory and Practice Clinical Supervision

Over a two decades of experience within mental health, public health and wellbeing, working for charities, the NHS and a local authority. Experience of transcultural services.
